DESCRIPTION
In cohesion with the need for strengthening the relation between higher education and wider economic and social environment (identified as one of the strategic priorities for countries of Central Asia), TechReh partners will put in place actions to persuade the relevant Ministries of the Republic of Uzbekistan to approve the new master’s degree and recognize formally the relative area of expertise. The importance of this act of suasion is in plain sight since the Uzbek Government (in the Welfare Improvement Strategy 2013-2015) has emphasized the need to improve the quality of specialists and curricula, strengthening the material and technical bases of higher education institutions. CEMRU will manage the suasion activities.
