2018.04.30 - April 24th-26th PLUX contributes to modernize physiotherapy education in Uzbekistan led by European consortium TechReh

A total of 6 European Partners led by the University of Sannio (Italy), are contributing with their know-how in specific fields of interest, to help achieve the goals of the project. In addition to high-profile academic partners, the project also has the involvement of PLUX - Wireless Biosignals, S.A., a Portuguese SME specialised in the development of hardware and software tools for physiotherapy and biomedical research.

During the meeting, the consortium had the honor to welcome Rui Almas, a representative of the Portuguese Embassy to France/AICEP, whom had the chance to learn about TechReh and the ongoing Franco-Portuguese collaboration (through a short presentation by the coordinator Pasquale Daponte), present some of the opportunities that Portugal has for the partners involved, and witness the welcoming of Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal as an associated partner from Portugal through the signature of a memorandum of understanding.

This was also the occasion for the official delivery ceremony of 20 BITalino (r)evolution Board BT kits, produced and donated by PLUX to the project. These equipments will further support the work being developed by the Uzbek institutions, capacitating 4 laboratories in Uzbekistan with the latest state-of-the-art tools for biomedical education and research activities.
